Manchester City has agreed personal terms with Haaland. He's set to join at the end of the season.
In a major development, as claimed by the Daily Mail, Manchester City are believed to have a deal in place to secure the signing of Borussia Dortmund superstar and Barcelona target Erling Haaland in the summer.
Haaland has been one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market heading into the summer transfer window. Barcelona have been hot on his trails for almost a year now, with president Joan Laporta trying to get the deal over the line and make him the face of Xavi’s project.

There have been multiple meetings held with Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, while a huge contract offer is also believed to have been proposed and it has been signed.
However, as per the latest update from the Mail, the Norwegian international has now seemingly chosen Manchester as his destination. Sources in Germany have informed the English publication that personal terms have been discussed while the structure of the deal is in place as well and has been signed.

Haaland has a release clause worth £63 million (€75 million). In addition to that, the Cityzens will be paying Raiola a commission, along with a signing-on bonus for the player, which would take the cost of the deal over £100 million.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, as well as PSG, remain intent on his capture and will keep fighting to try and secure his services. However, as things stand, Manchester City have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Haaland, whose father, Alf-Inge, used to play for the Premier League champions.
