It was confirm this morning that the formal goalkeeper will be leaving his role as the club's technical and performance advisor at the end of the month of June.
"It has been a huge privilege to perform this role at Chelsea for the past three years. With the club under the new ownership, I feel it's the right time for me to step aside. I'm please that the club is now in an excellent position with the new owners and I'm confident of it's future success both on and off the pitch said Petr Cech.
"Petr is an important member of the Chelsea family. We understand his decision to step away and we all appreciate Petr for all he has done for the club and to our community. We wish him the best!
