FIFA WORLD CUP
The Fifa World Cup, is often known as the World cup, is an International association football competition. Contested by the senior men's national teams.
The tournament often take place every four-years. Since the inauguration tournament in 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was not held because of the second world war.
The current Champions is France which won it's second title at the 2018 tournament in Russia.
Qatar World Cup 2022
The World Cup 2022 will take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18.
32 teams, including hosts Qatar have qualified for the tournament, it will be the biggest football event to take place in the middle East.
The opening Match will be on November 21 with the final taking place on December 18 at Lusail Stadium.
The matches will take place across eight stadium in Qatar.
Stadiums for the tournament
Qatar's national stadium, Khalifa stadium and other seven stadiums have been selected and constructed specially for the tournament.
Lusail Stadium with the capacity of 80,000 is the biggest of them.
